One Comment on "Contacts: U.S. House and Senate representatives"
Dear elected officials:
I am a single mother working 10-15 hours a day. I, like every other American, work hard and long for not a lot. I pay my taxes on time and in full. I pay into social security which I will probably never see and I accept that. I help my mom pay her bills because frankly the Social Security she receives is a joke. No one can live on what she gets. It is below the poverty level. Our so called healthcare reform …….well you guys did a rotten job at that too. Right now I believe that anyone of you who has been in an elected position for more than one term needs to go home. The new ones we elected (hoping to inject some sanity in this whole process) have failed. They don’t get the message. STOP screwing around and do your job. Protect me! Work for me! If you don’t get this debt stuff taken care of and do what we elected you to do, I can guarantee you won’t be there long. We are no longer dumb, fat and happy. We are paying attention. Screw around with our 401Ks and I can assure you will not be an elected official for long.
